About this bottle
Woodinville Moscatel Finished Straight Bourbon starts as the Washington distillery's mature bourbon before finishing in barrels that previously held Moscatel de Setúbal fortified wine. The secondary maturation layers dried fruit over a classic bourbon foundation.
Tasting Notes
Dried apricot, orange peel, honey and toffee lead into candied nuts, oak and a subtle fennel finish.
Specifications
Straight bourbon whiskey finished in Moscatel wine casks; Woodinville Whiskey Co.; Washington; 750ml bottle.
Serving Suggestions
Sip neat to appreciate the fortified-wine influence, or add a few drops of water to reveal brighter citrus notes.
