Shipping & Fulfillment Overview
blackbookspirits.com is operated by ON Marketing LLC as an online marketplace and marketing platform. We partner exclusively with licensed and verified alcohol retailers, distributors, and fulfillment centers to process and ship customer orders in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
We currently ship within the United States only and do not offer international shipping.
Shipping Origin
All orders are shipped from our licensed retail and fulfillment partners. The origin may vary depending on product availability and your location.
Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses or P.O. boxes.

Orders placed with incomplete or invalid addresses are subject to cancellation, and a 10% cancellation fee may apply.

We recommend using a business address to minimize the risk of missed deliveries.
Age Requirement & Legal Compliance

You must be 21 years of age or older to place an order.

All deliveries require an adult signature and a valid government-issued ID at the time of delivery.

Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local and state laws regarding alcohol shipment and receipt.

Title to all goods passes to the buyer in California at the time of purchase.
Taxes

California orders are subject to 7.75% sales tax.

Orders shipped outside California are generally exempt from California sales tax, though your state may require use tax or other applicable fees.
Order Processing & Delivery Times

Orders typically ship within 3 business days after payment confirmation.

During high-demand periods (such as holidays), processing times may be longer.

If an item is out of stock, we will notify you with the option to wait (up to 5 business days) or receive a refund.

Due to limited availability, we cannot guarantee fulfillment of seasonal or limited-edition releases.
Weather Advisory

We recommend avoiding ground shipping during periods of extreme heat or cold.

We are not responsible for weather-related damage to products.

You may request that we hold your order until conditions improve at no additional cost.
Returns, Refunds & Damage Policy

All sales are final.

If your order has not shipped, you may request cancellation. Approved cancellations are refunded minus a 10% processing fee.

Return requests must be emailed to info@blackbookspirits.com and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

If approved, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility and a 10% restocking fee may apply.

If your order arrives damaged:

Email info@blackbookspirits.com with your order number and clear photos of the damaged item(s).

Shipping Insurance must be purchased at checkout to be eligible for a refund or replacement.

Orders without insurance cannot be refunded for shipping-related damage.

Alcohol Shipping Regulations

We do not ship products over 70% ABV (140 proof).
-
Items under 24% ABV are not subject to hazardous materials restrictions.

Products above 24% ABV cannot be shipped by air.
Bottle Sizes
Unless otherwise specified, all bottles are 750ml.
Shipping Charges

Rates are calculated based on your location, order weight, and packaging.

Large bottles (1L, 1.75L) or special packaging may result in additional charges.

If actual shipping costs differ from the estimate at checkout, we will contact you prior to shipment.
Fees & Legal Disclaimer

All shipping, handling, and restocking fees are set by our licensed retail and fulfillment partners.

We are not responsible for legal issues resulting from the shipment of alcohol to jurisdictions where such shipments are restricted or prohibited.

Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer upon purchase in California.
