About this bottle
Woodford Reserve Master's Collection No. 22 Super Seasoned Oak is the distillery's 2026 limited Master's Collection release. The experimental bourbon focuses on unusually seasoned oak: barrel staves were weathered outdoors for five years and the barrel heads for seven years, allowing extended natural seasoning to reshape the wood's influence on the whiskey.
Tasting notes
Caramel and vanilla meet almond, cherry and cinnamon-dusted dried red apple on the nose. The palate layers vanilla, caramel and orange oils with cinnamon and clove, followed by a warm cinnamon-driven finish.
