About this bottle
WhistlePig Snout-to-Tail Bourbon combines a ten-year age statement with an unusual toasted-barrel finish. Each finishing barrel uses two different heads: medium-toasted Vermont oak at one end and a smoked-maple-wood toast at the other. Rotating the barrel brings the whiskey into contact with both, developing layers of nuts, sweet oak and grain.
Tasting Notes
Honey, brown sugar and toasted cashew introduce the nose. Roasted almond and baked cornbread develop on the palate, followed by butterscotch, bread crust and cedar-like wood notes.
