About this bottle
Tumbleroot Rye Whiskey belongs to the Alegría Blending Project, named for the brand's historic Club Alegría taproom in Santa Fe. For this expression, Tumbleroot's distillers source and blend whiskey barrels to emphasize a classic American rye profile. More than 70% rye in the grain composition gives it a notably spicy character.
Tasting Notes
The defining feature is a peppery rye bite with a bold grain-spice character. Its bourbon-like foundation provides a familiar whiskey profile while the rye keeps the blend lively in mixed drinks.
