About this bottle

The Matsui Mizunara Cask is a Japanese single malt distilled in Tottori and matured in Mizunara, the Japanese oak prized for its aromatic wood character. Natural spring water from Mount Daisen brings the whisky to bottling strength. This is the Mizunara Cask expression, distinct from the brand's Sakura Cask and peated whiskies.

Tasting Notes

Light floral aromas and vanilla meet a fragrant oak-and-spice character. The palate combines sweet malt, gentle caramel and warming cinnamon-like notes, with a smooth, lingering finish that returns to aromatic wood.
