Stranahan's Original is a Colorado American single malt made from 100% malted barley and matured in new charred American oak. Bottled at 94 proof without chill filtration, it combines malt depth with the vanilla and wood spice associated with fresh oak. This is the Original expression, not Sherry Cask or a single-barrel selection.
Tasting notes
Malted grain, vanilla and oak lead the palate. Warm spice and a rounded texture give the whiskey structure, with a lingering balance of sweet malt and toasted wood.
