About this bottle
Sonoma Distilling Co. Straight Rye Whiskey uses a mash bill composed entirely of rye, including both malted and unmalted grain. The California producer's direct-fire pot-distillation approach gives the whiskey a robust grain character rather than a neutral, highly rectified profile. This is the regular rye expression, not the cherrywood-smoked or truffle-infused releases.
Tasting Notes
Vanilla, allspice and white pepper accompany dried apricot and walnut. An herbal, spicy character remains central, with a light chocolate-like accent through the finish.

Serving Suggestions
Enjoy neat or with a little water. The bold rye profile also stands up well in a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned with aromatic bitters.
