About this bottle
Sal Divina is an artisanal Espadín mezcal made by fourth-generation master mezcalero Damián Hernández in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. The agave is roasted in a conical stone oven, milled with a horse-drawn stone tahona, naturally fermented in open-air pine drums and double distilled in copper.
Tasting Notes
Floral sweetness leads the profile, with roasted agave and a restrained smoky note that arrives later on the palate. The result is smooth, approachable and less smoke-dominant than many traditional mezcals.
