Rey Sol Extra Añejo matures for six years in French oak, developing a deep amber color and a substantial sipping profile. Casa San Matías presents the tequila in its distinctive sun-shaped decanter. This is the six-year expression, not the separately labeled ten-year release.
Tasting notes
Oak, chocolate and vanilla lead the aroma, with hazelnut, roasted almond and dried-fruit notes. A rich palate carries mature wood and sweetness into a long finish of chocolate and nuts.
