Penelope Wheated Bourbon brings a wheat-led balance to the producer's Core Series. The four-grain recipe still includes a small amount of rye, giving the rounded wheat character a measured spicy edge. Blended from whiskeys aged four to six years and bottled without chill filtration, it offers a full texture at 95 proof.
Tasting Notes
Light oak, sweet corn, apple and pear lead the aroma. Vanilla and honey meet caramel apple and orange zest on the palate, with brown sugar, toasted oak and cinnamon lingering through the finish.
