Pelotón de la Muerte Joven is an unaged Oaxacan mezcal made from Espadín agave. The one-liter format offers a cocktail-friendly expression that keeps the roasted agave, fermentation and distillation character in the foreground without barrel aging.
Tasting Notes
Wood smoke and cooked agave lead the nose. The palate is green and mineral with herbaceous notes, lime peel, black pepper and a touch of roasted pineapple, followed by a dry, ashy finish.
