About this bottle

Paladar Reposado Sauternes Cask is an experimental additive-free tequila produced with the Orendain family's distillery partner at NOM 1109 in Tequila, Jalisco. Seven-year Blue Weber agave is slow-cooked in brick ovens, fermented in open-air pine boxes and twice distilled before the reposado is finished in French Sauternes wine casks.

Tasting Notes

The Sauternes finish adds soft honeyed fruit, apricot and other stone-fruit notes with gentle spice. The wine-cask sweetness remains restrained, allowing cooked agave and the tequila's natural texture to remain central.
