About this bottle
Ortolan Rosolio reinterprets the traditional Italian rose liqueur using heirloom roses grown in California. Different rose varieties contribute their own aromas and natural pigments, balanced by additional botanicals for length. Adding citrus can shift the drink toward pink as acidity interacts with the rose pigments.
Tasting notes
Floral and citrus aromas introduce a lightly sweet palate. Rose, cardamom and clove-like accents meet subtle bitter citrus and earthy botanical notes, leading to a long, clean finish.

Serve over ice with orange peel, or add soda and a squeeze of lemon. A small measure adds floral complexity to a Martini, Margarita or sparkling-wine cocktail; adjust other sweeteners to taste.
