About this bottle
Old Forester Statesman is a Kentucky straight bourbon selected from warmer areas of the warehouse for a bold, rounded character. Bottled at 95 proof, the expression balances substantial spice and wood with fruit and caramel. It is the Statesman release, separate from Old Forester's Whiskey Row age-inspired lineup.
Tasting notes
Clove and oak lead the aroma, followed by pepper and cinnamon on the palate. Orange and caramel provide a sweeter counterpoint, with a warming finish that retains the bourbon's spice and barrel depth.

Serving suggestion
Enjoy neat or over one large cube. An Old Fashioned with orange peel highlights its citrus and caramel, while a Manhattan frames the clove and oak.
