About this bottle
Old Charter Oak Finest Oak Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a distinctive Buffalo Trace Distillery expression built around the relationship between bourbon and barrel. Part of the Old Charter Oak collection, Finest Oak matures in specially prepared barrels made by Canton Cooperage from carefully selected American white oak. The staves are hand-sorted and open-air seasoned in Kentucky before becoming barrels. This is the Finest Oak bottling—not the collection's French Oak, Chinkapin Oak or other oak experiments.
