About this bottle
Mijenta Symphony Series No. 2 explores how a specially constructed oak barrel shapes reposado tequila. The spirit matures for eight months in casks assembled with staves from Minnesota, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Virginia, then is bottled at 90 proof. The higher strength emphasizes the interaction between Highland agave and the different oak sources.
Tasting Notes
Cooked agave, vanilla, caramel and banana introduce the aroma, with citrus, herbs and almond accents. Chocolate, mint, cardamom and clove develop across a layered palate, balancing barrel sweetness with herbal freshness.
