About this bottle
Michter's US*1 Unblended American Whiskey matures in whiskey-soaked barrels rather than the new oak required for bourbon. That distinction is central to the expression: it is American whiskey, not Michter's bourbon or rye. The seasoned wood supports a rounded, sweet profile without overwhelming the spirit with fresh-oak intensity.
Tasting notes
Vanilla and toffee lead into dried-fruit sweetness and mellow barrel spice. A rounded texture and gently warming finish make the oak influence feel integrated rather than sharply tannic.

Serving suggestion
Serve neat or over a large cube. Its vanilla-and-toffee character also suits an Old Fashioned, using just enough syrup to balance the bitters.
