Los Javis Espadín Joven Mezcal showcases the roasted-agave character of Oaxaca in an unaged expression. Espadín agave is pit-roasted, milled and fermented before copper-pot distillation. With no barrel-aging layer, the focus stays on the interplay of agave sweetness, floral aroma and smoke.
Tasting notes
Floral notes and sweet roasted agave introduce the spirit. Caramelized impressions from the cooking process round out the palate, followed by an earthy, smoky finish.
