About this bottle
Terrativo Barrel Aged Bitter combines Liba Spirits' own high-rye bourbon with the bright, bitter character of an aperitivo. The bourbon matures in new charred American white oak before botanical infusion. After maceration with fruits and botanicals, the mixture returns to barrel for additional maturation, bringing bourbon depth to a category often built on neutral spirit.
Tasting Notes
Tart cherry and bitter orange meet rhubarb, hibiscus and warming spice. Bourbon supplies an oak-backed foundation, while cardamom and allspice add aromatic lift. The profile is bitter, gently sweet and fruit-driven rather than simply syrupy.
