About this bottle
Knappogue Castle 16 Year Twin Wood is a single malt Irish whiskey matured in bourbon barrels and finished in Oloroso sherry casks. The two wood influences bring together bourbon-cask vanilla and richer sherry fruit, creating a more layered expression than a whiskey matured only in one cask type.
Tasting notes
Fruit and aromatic malt lead into creamy vanilla and toasted-nut impressions. Sherry sweetness and gentle wood spice continue through a long, rounded finish.

Serving suggestion
Enjoy neat in a tulip-shaped glass, allowing a few minutes for the aromas to open. A little water can reveal more malt and fruit; toasted almonds make a complementary pairing.
