About this bottle

Journeyman Not a King is a rye whiskey made from an organic, rye-led grain recipe. Single distillation preserves a grain-forward character, while barrel maturation adds depth around the rye's natural spice. This listing identifies the Not a King expression without guaranteeing a particular annual release or batch number.

Tasting notes

Honey and oak aromas meet leather-like depth and gentle spice. A rounded grain palate balances corn sweetness with rye character, leading into a warming finish with soft vanilla and peppery accents.

Serving suggestions

Serve neat or over a large cube to compare the sweeter corn and spicy rye notes. A Manhattan with measured sweet vermouth and aromatic bitters highlights the grain without hiding it.
