About this bottle
John's Alabama Single Malt from John Emerald Distilling Company is made from 100% malted barley, with a portion smoked using peach and pecan wood. The regional woods add a distinctly Southern smoke character rather than relying on peat. This is the distillery's malt whiskey, not its separate bourbon expressions.
Tasting notes
Honey and vanilla-like notes meet cinnamon and oak. A gentle wood-smoke accent adds depth to the rounded malt palate, with warm spice and a lingering smoky finish.

Serving suggestions
Serve neat or add a few drops of water to explore the malt and smoke. A large cube provides slower dilution, while an Old Fashioned with restrained syrup highlights the honeyed and spicy notes.
