About this bottle
Hard Truth Sweet Mash Rye begins each fermentation with fresh ingredients rather than reusing backset from an earlier batch. Its recipe is 94% rye and 6% malted barley, and the whiskey is bottled uncut and unfiltered in small batches. This listing identifies the 113-proof bottling in a 750ml bottle; other batches may have different strengths.
Tasting Notes & Flavor Profile
Maple, stone fruit and honey introduce a rye-led palate of dark cherry, cracked pepper, caramelized sugar and oak. Vanilla, clove and cinnamon develop through the finish.

Serving Suggestions
Use a small neat pour, then add water to taste. It also makes a flavorful rye Old Fashioned or Sazerac.
