About this bottle

Probitas White Rum combines Foursquare rum from Barbados with Hampden Estate rum from Jamaica. The blend brings together unaged column- and pot-still spirit with an aged pot-still component, retaining a fuller character than a highly neutral white rum. This is the 47% ABV White expression, not Probitas Green Label.

Tasting notes

Tropical-fruit aromas suggest plantain and strawberry. Grassy mango, coconut and marzipan-like notes add depth to a substantial palate, with black pepper, allspice and grilled-pineapple impressions on the finish.

Serving suggestions

Shake a Daiquiri with fresh lime and sugar to taste, or use in a Mojito with mint and soda. A small neat pour also reveals the contrast between Foursquare's roundness and Hampden's expressive fruit.
