About this bottle
Derrumbes Michoacán combines Chino and Alto agaves in a regionally distinctive mezcal from Tzitzio. Chino, or Agave cupreata, supplies mature fruit character, while Alto, or Agave inaequidens, contributes a more herbal dimension. Traditional fermentation and local distillation methods create an expression distinct from the brand's Oaxaca or San Luis Potosí bottlings.
Tasting notes
Tropical and ripe-fruit notes meet a fresh, forest-like herbal character. Earthy agave and a robust fermented-fruit depth give the palate complexity, with a lingering savory finish.
