Del Maguey Tobaziche explores an upright-growing member of the Karwinskii agave family. The slow-maturing agave develops a distinctive character before traditional mezcal production and copper distillation. This is an unaged Oaxacan mezcal; the agave's many years of growth should not be mistaken for barrel aging.
