Del Maguey Santo Domingo Albarradas is a Single Village mezcal from the high-altitude Mixe region of Oaxaca. The Morales Luis family traditionally roasts ripe Espadín agave and twice distills the fermented mash in copper stills. The cooler, lush mountain terroir gives the expression a fresh profile distinct from many lowland Oaxacan mezcals.
Tasting notes
Bright citrus and roasted pear lift the nose. Tropical fruit, light wood and savory spice unfold on the palate, followed by a clean and dry finish.
