About this bottle
Corazón Expresiones Thomas H. Handy Añejo connects Mexican tequila with barrels previously used for Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye. Produced at Casa San Matías in the Highlands of Jalisco, the expression explores how a distinctive whiskey barrel can complement aged agave. It remains tequila, not a rye whiskey or a blend of the two spirits.
Tasting profile
A soft, lightly sweet palate carries cooked-agave character and mature wood. The former rye barrels contribute a spicy dimension, building a warm finish around the tequila's rounded texture.

Serve neat to compare the agave and rye-barrel influences. Add a large cube for gradual dilution, or pair with dark chocolate and toasted nuts.
