About this bottle
Código 1530 George Strait Encore Añejo brings the brand's aged tequila to a special presentation associated with Honky Tonk Time Machine. Eighteen months in French white-oak barrels previously used for Napa Valley Cabernet develop a layered sipping profile. This is the George Strait Encore Añejo edition, not Código's standard Blanco or Rosa.
Tasting notes
Ripe fruit and cooked agave are joined by vanilla and mature oak. A gently spicy finish provides contrast to the rounded fruit and barrel sweetness.

Serving suggestion
Serve neat in a tasting glass and allow the aromas to develop. A large cube provides gradual dilution; toasted nuts complement the oak and fruit without masking the agave.
