About this bottle
Cascade Moon Mellow as Moonlight is a 15-year-old barrel-proof spirit distilled from grain at Tennessee's Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. Aged in new charred oak, the barrels naturally reached 79.8 proof (39.9% ABV), just below the U.S. legal minimum for classification as whiskey. Rather than increase the strength, the distillery bottled this expressive spirit at its natural barrel proof.
Tasting Notes
Sweet tropical-fruit aromas introduce soft caramel, vanilla and warm oak, followed by leather and a mellow finish.
