About this bottle
Bozal Barril Reserva is made from the wild Barril agave, part of the Karwinskii family, in Oaxaca. The agave's distinctive upright growth habit and the producer's traditional production give this mezcal a layered herbal, citrus and mineral profile.
Tasting notes
Forest herbs and anise-like floral spice lead the nose. A rounded palate brings cooked agave, honeyed sweetness, green pepper and citrus, finishing mineral and lightly smoky.
