About this bottle
Blanton's Takara Gold Edition is a Japanese-market presentation of Kentucky single-barrel bourbon distilled at Buffalo Trace. Drawn from individual barrels, it is bottled at 103 proof and recognized for its rich character and distinctive Gold Edition presentation. Each barrel has its own bottling details; no fixed age statement is claimed.
Tasting notes
Honey, caramel and vanilla introduce oak and ripe fruit on the nose. Toasted nuts, dried fruit and lively rye spice build on the palate, with a long, warming finish.

Serve neat in a tasting glass, then compare with a few drops of water. The richer Gold profile also makes an expressive bourbon Old Fashioned.
