About this bottle

Bardstown TopFlight S3B27 is a six-year rye whiskey finished for twelve months in a hybrid barrel built from cherrywood and American oak. The 95% rye recipe and 120.8-proof bottling create a bold foundation for the distinctive wood finish. This is the TopFlight single-barrel selection, not the standard Bardstown rye.

Tasting Notes

Ginger-cookie spice, clove and dark fruit lead the aroma. The palate combines milk-chocolate and pecan-pie impressions with baking spice and coconut, finishing with caramel, cherry and nutmeg.
