Angel's Envy Rum Cask Finished Rye Whiskey (375ml)

Angel’s Envy Rum Cask Finished Rye brings the signature combination of rye spice and Caribbean rum-cask sweetness into a 375ml half bottle. The whiskey can spend up to eighteen months in its finishing casks, developing a richer profile while retaining the earthy character of rye. This is the regular Signature Series expression, not the limited age-stated Cask Strength Rye.

Tasting Notes & Flavor Profile

Citrus, caramel candy, maple-like sweetness, vanilla and hazelnut appear on the nose. The palate develops rum-influenced sweetness and soft oak, with a finish that balances sweetness and dryness.

The half bottle makes it practical to compare this rum-finished rye with an un-finished rye or Angel’s Envy Port Finished Bourbon.

Serving Suggestions

Try a small pour neat, or over a large cube. Its rum-cask character also works in a whiskey Old Fashioned.
