About this bottle
Amarás Espadín Reposado adds a gentle oak-rested dimension to the producer's Espadín mezcal. A minimum three-month maturation in barrels made from two types of oak develops a light amber color and a softer texture. This is the Reposado expression, rather than the clear, unaged Joven.
Tasting notes
Cooked agave leads a mellow palate with vanilla and caramel notes. A hazelnut-like accent adds richness, followed by a warm, rounded finish that balances wood and agave.
