About this bottle
Aberfeldy 15 Year Bolgheri Red Wine Cask combines the distillery's honeyed Highland style with a finish in Tuscan red-wine wood. Following maturation in refill and hogshead casks, the whisky develops additional dark-fruit character in casks from Bolgheri. It is bottled at 46% ABV with natural color and without chill filtration.
Tasting Notes
Dark cherry and juicy plum aromas lead into chocolate, vanilla and a touch of nutmeg. Aberfeldy's characteristic honey notes provide warmth and sweetness, while soft oak lingers through the finish.
