About this bottle
291 Colorado Single Barrel Bourbon is pot-distilled, matured in new American oak and finished with toasted aspen staves. Bottling at barrel proof preserves the intensity of each individual barrel, creating a distinctly Colorado interpretation of bourbon. Exact strength and flavor nuances vary by barrel.
Tasting notes
Dark red cherry, honeycomb and toasted-marshmallow impressions build a full, coating palate. Oak and aspen-derived character add depth, carrying the sweetness and warmth into a long finish.

Serving suggestions
Begin with a small neat pour and add water slowly to suit the bottle's strength. A large cube gives gradual dilution and can open the cherry and honeyed notes without masking the wood.
