Product Description

Rare Character Limited Release Straight Rye Cask Strength – Batch 08 (2025) 750ml is a bold, high-proof rye curated by blackbook for drinkers who crave intensity, structure, and serious spice. Bottled at cask strength, this limited 2025 release showcases the full, unfiltered character of carefully selected Kentucky rye barrels—untamed, powerful, and deeply expressive.

Batch 08 delivers classic rye backbone layered with dark caramel, cracked pepper, toasted oak, and baking spice. The elevated proof amplifies texture and flavor, revealing waves of herbal complexity, dried fruit, and warm barrel char as it opens in the glass. Despite its strength, the balance remains deliberate—big, but not chaotic.

At blackbook, we spotlight limited rye releases that deliver real depth and authenticity. Rare Character Batch 08 does exactly that—pure cask expression with no compromises.
