About this bottle
Código 1530 Reposado combines the agave focus of the brand's Blanco with six months of maturation in French white-oak barrels previously used for Napa Valley Cabernet. The wine-seasoned wood brings a softer, fruit-accented dimension while allowing the cooked-agave foundation to remain prominent. It offers a balanced step between unaged Blanco and the more deeply matured Añejo.
Tasting profile
Cooked agave leads into gentle oak and rounded fruit impressions. The French oak contributes a subtle spicy edge and a mellow finish rather than an intensely charred, wood-heavy character.
