Akul Joven is an unaged Espadín mezcal from Oaxaca, offering roasted-agave character without the influence of barrel maturation. Its bright citrus and warm spice make it versatile for both sipping and mixing. This is the core Joven expression, distinct from Akul's rested and multi-agave bottlings.
Tasting notes
Lime-peel aromas introduce a palate of sweet spice, including cinnamon, black pepper and cardamom-like notes. Citrus returns through the middle, followed by a warming finish with a light smoky accent.
