Laphroaig Lore is a richly layered Islay single malt Scotch whisky created to honor the distillery's generations of whisky-making knowledge. Lore combines malt whiskies aged from seven to twenty-one years, matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, European oak and Oloroso sherry casks plus smaller quarter casks. The result is a boldly peated expression of Laphroaig's signature maritime character: smoke, sea spray, spice and dark sweetness.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Strong peat smoke, coastal minerals, ash and dark chocolate.

Palate: Lively notes of bitter chocolate, ash, intense peat and a spicy chili-pepper bite.
