Unveiled in September 2026, it celebrates The Macallan's partnership with the Valdespino bodega in Jerez, Spain. After twenty years of maturation in sherry-seasoned oak, the whisky is given an additional marrying period in a selection of oak casks seasoned with Valdespino sherry. The result is a layered, sherry-rich single malt presented in the collection's striking circular decanter and accompanying yellow-themed presentation box.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Sherry-soaked raisins, figs and Medjool dates with frangipane, cinder toffee, chocolate truffles and fragrant baking spices.

Palate: Sultanas, dried apricot, ginger cake, treacle toffee, bramble jam and chocolate-coated cherries mingle with polished oak and cloves.

Finish: Long, warming oak spice with cocoa, a touch of espresso and gentle sweetness.

Product Details

Producer: The Macallan

Style: Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Release: TIME : SPACE Sherry Cask, 2026

Age: 20 years

Cask influence: Sherry-seasoned oak, including a marrying stage in Valdespino-seasoned casks

ABV / proof: 44.8% / 89.6 proof

Bottle size: 750ml per US import

Presentation: Circular decanter and branded display box

Why Choose This Bottle?

The rare Valdespino cask connection and distinctive TIME : SPACE presentation make this one of The Macallan's collector-oriented releases.
